General Giving

SCLN is all about inspiring leaders and driving change. But we can’t do it alone! Your gift supports our work providing unmatched access to high-level decision makers, rich classroom discussions combined with experiential learning and comprehensive leadership development. By ensuring that all leaders have equitable access to development opportunities, SCLN can successfully meet our mission to develop strong leaders in all sectors. In addition, by giving an opportunity for diversity of participation, the entire cohort of fellows benefits. Fellows will collectively be exposed to a greater abundance of viewpoints, are given the opportunity to build a more robust, cross-sector network and ultimately become stronger leaders and more able to serve a diverse region.

Your gift supports:

  • Underrepresented emerging leaders, giving them opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge and network to successfully pursue professional and civic leadership roles

  • The recruitment of the most dynamic and engaged civic and community leaders California has to offer

  • Comprehensive and expanded programming, recruitment of program partners and organizational growth

  • Events for continued engagement, lifelong learning & community building

Program and Event Sponsors

SCLN is grateful to all of our diverse partnerships and generous sponsors. No other leadership program brings together California’s diversity like SCLN. Fellows come from all sectors and all walks of life, reflecting the cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, age, lifestyle and geographic complexity of California.

There are many ways you can champion SCLN’s game-changing programs:

Sponsor an SCLN Fellowship: Each of our fellowships – Leadership L.A., Leadership Southern California, and the Riordan Leadership Institute – offers high-profile sponsorship opportunities, giving your company wide exposure to business, government and social sector leaders.

Support an SCLN Event: From our annual Visionaries Awards to alumni events, your sponsorship will support the important work of SCLN as you gain maximum exposure with 15,000+ cross sector leaders.

Lend Your Expertise: Serve as a speaker for an SCLN seminar or alumni event.  We cover a wide range of topics, from health care to homelessness, education to the arts, and government to natural resources.

Show Off Your Assets: Host one of our seminars, events or graduations, and give our fellows and alumni an inside look at your company or organization.

SCLN is committed to developing the potential of our region’s most talented leaders. Unfortunately, financial means can be an obstacle for some of our most highly qualified candidates. In response to this challenge, scholarships expand opportunities for qualified individuals who apply for our fellowships. As an investor, you and/or your organization may cover the full cost of a fellowship or partial scholarships for multiple fellows. You may also select target populations to benefit from your scholarship, such as veterans, arts professionals, educators or others. We invite you to sponsor a scholarship!
