My name is Jay Yoon, and I am a Director of Project Control in Program Management Department. I studied architectural engineering for my bachelor’s degree and construction management for my master’s degree. I’ve been working for different types (high-rise, multi-family residential, utilities, and transportation) of construction projects for more than 21 years. I began my career with LA Metro in 2013 as a scheduling supervisor for the Regional Connector Project and currently I support various rail and capital improvement projects.

Even though I have years of professional experience in managing project controls and related practices, I learn something new everyday. I believe collaborative leadership is essential for the project controls manager (PCM) to manage complex and uncertain projects. I love to build trust with my colleagues. I am open-minded to understand and respect other people’s valuable opinions and feedback to sharpen my skills.
