Melissa Yuen is currently a Senior Instructional Design Consultant at Capital Group, responsible for training, knowledge management, and change management. Prior to Capital, she had 15 years of experience in environmental and natural resource conservation with non-profits and government organizations, where she served in various roles from research, program management, communications, advocacy, and policy analysis. Melissa was born and raised in Maryland, with roots in Hong Kong, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her partner, Mike; two cats; and a houseful of plants. She has diverse interests and hobbies, including creating art (drawing, painting, ceramics, graphic design), reading (fiction, fantasy, scifi), travel, gardening, and cooking.
