Lucy Delgadillo joined Metro in Jan 2011, is currently a Senior Manager in Metro’s Highway Program. As part of the Metro’s Highway Program, she’s involved in the development of major highway capital projects in southeast LA County, including the I-710 South Task Effort, I-710 Early Action Projects, SR-91 Atlantic to Cherry Aux Lane Project and Southbound I-605 Beverly Interchange Improvement, among others. Lucy has worked for Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano (CA32) and past Assembly Member Tom Umberg (AD69). Lucy Delgadillo earned her M.A. in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of California, Irvine and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She hopes to gain insight and better understanding of issues facing the Southern California region in hopes of better serving LA County residents transportation experience.
After work, I come home to my most important profession which is being a mom of a soon to be 1st grader and Pre-schooler. For my children, my passion is to leave this world a better place for future generations.
