Kayla Spencer is a higher education leader, serving in various public and private organizations across the industry. Currently, she is a Manager of Industry Engagement at 2U, Inc., a leading education technology company that helps universities transform their online education. Prior to joining 2U, Kayla served as the Director of Alumni Learning and Career Programs at her alma mater, Pomona College. It was her internship at the National Collegiate Athletic Association that sparked an interest in working on behalf of students and universities. Kayla earned her MBA and Master's in Sport Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and her undergraduate degree in International Relations and French from Pomona College in Claremont, CA. She also conducted independent research studies as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to Switzerland. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys playing tennis, discovering new restaurants and breweries around Pasadena, and traveling to visit family and new countries.
