My name is Grant, and am a systems thinker who can traverse scales to work with problems as a whole and when they are in pieces (parts).
Currently, I am a regulatory policy manager for SoCalGas, with over 15 years of experience in project management, analytics, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. In my current role, I lead a team focused on developing the regulatory strategy needed to comply with new federal pipeline regulations. In my previous roles at SoCalGas, I supported various groups in advanced analytics and computational linguistics. Before SoCalGas, I was a principal for a consulting firm that developed compliance strategies with air quality regulations. Before that role, I was an Environmental Manager for a Southern California refinery.
I have a BA in Chemistry and an MS in Biochemistry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MS in Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, in addition to a PMP from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
