Francia works as a Community Liaison at Learn4Life, a network of non-profit public schools that provides students personalized learning, career training and life skills. She has built a network of relationships with community organizations, businesses, and individuals to promote services and programs that enhance student success.
In addition, Francia works as an adjunct faculty/grantee at the Los Angeles Community College district supporting industry grant-based programs for African American and Latino students.
Francia was born in Cali-Colombia and moved to the United States in 2004. After overcoming a culture shock Francia started a non-profit organization that promoted economic development in Colombia. With her passion about conservation and alternative energy, Francia worked on the creation of sustainable biofuel cultivation and promoted opportunities to support socio economic progress.
Her aspiration for social responsibility for her country propelled her to work as an International Liaison. Francia connected project developers in Colombia and investment agencies from the public and private sectors in the United States. Her diligent networking has developed a broad base of associations and friendships with high level diplomats, provincial governors and numerous regional and local public officials, scientists, and academicians in Colombia.
Francia speaks fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese and has contributed to the expansion of business in the industries of fitness and agriculture in both Colombia and Brazil. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Global Business at the University of Phoenix.
