Erin Tanenbaum joined the Southern California Leadership Network (SCLN) in 2014. She currently serves as senior managing director, setting the vision for and overseeing day-to-day management of the organization. Before stepping into this role, she was senior director of programs, responsible for the design, implementation and facilitation of all SCLN’s fellowships, including Leadership L.A. Leadership Southern California, the Riordan Leadership Institute and California Connections.

Prior to joining SCLN, Tanenbaum was associate director of business and program development at the Milken Institute, working with stakeholders across industries and sectors to address issues and advance solutions in areas ranging from aging to global health to food security to enhancing job growth in California. Tanenbaum began her career leading international volunteers to provide summer respite programs in Croatia for children who survived the Bosnian war. Since then, she has developed programs, raised financial support and overseen operations for both international and domestic nonprofit organizations, such as the California Community Foundation, International Medical Corps, Southern California Grantmakers and the Venice Family Clinic.

Ms. Tanenbaum lives in Santa Monica with her husband Todd. She is a huge animal lover and has a passion for movies, politics and all kinds of music from every decade.
