Battina C. Cooper is a well-rounded transit enthusiast. With a diverse background with 14 years experience within public and private transportation industries. Her background consist of managing supply chain with an Italian manufacturer/car builder contracted by LA Metro’s gold Line (LRV’s) and red line (HRV’s).

In 2014 she was recruited by LA Metro as a Material Planner, overseeing materials for three rail divisions in the Los Angeles County.

In 2018, she was appointed a Subject Matter Expert for the Enterprise Asset Management Software project (EAMS), where her current role is to represent all aspect of Vendor/Contract Management & Logistics interests while replacing LA Metro’s antiquated M3 software and implement a more robust system.

Outside of work, Battina enjoys being involved in her community and working with her local Mayor initiatives. She enjoys all outdoor activities, taking long rides on her motorcycle, listening to Jazz, a nice pint of Häagen-Dazs, meeting new people and traveling around the world; experiencing background history and different cultures.
