Angela serves as a Program Officer for the College Success team at ECMC Foundation, a national funder focused on postsecondary education. In her role, Angela oversees grants that increase college persistence, two-year transfer, and bachelor degree completion for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Prior to ECMC Foundation, Angela was at UCLA’s Alumni Diversity Programs, supporting alumni identity affinity groups (UCLA Black Alumni, Latino Alumni, LGBTQ+).
Outside of ECMC Foundation, Angela serves on the board of directors and DEI Committee for the Los Angeles-based nonprofit School on Wheels, Inc., which provides academic support to K-12 students experiencing homelessness. She also serves on the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. An alumna of the Riordan Leadership Institute, Angela has provided training on understanding social identities and implicit bias for organizations, such as Reading Partners Los Angeles.
